Maywah (Basil) Jasisingh, died at North Shore Hospital on Monday August 29, 2017. He was surrounded by his children, grand-children and family members by his bedside as he took his last breath.
He was born on December 12, 1949 in West Bank Demerara. Guyana, South America. He migrated to United States with his family in January of 1983. He worked as an Engineer for the Waldorf Astoria for 28 years until he retired in 2010.
Basil, was very admired and respected by many.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday August 31,2017 between 6 pm. to 9 pm at Leahy McDonald Funeral Home, located at 111-02 Atlantic Avenue, Jamaica NY 11419.
A private funeral Service will be held on Friday September 1st 2017 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am.
