Virginia Jean Krug Obituary

Virginia Jean Krug (nee Hoffmeyer), everyone called her Ginny, was born April 18, 1945 to Charles and Eileen Hoffmeyer. She was the sister of Rosemarie, Barbara and Susan. She married Charlie Konovitch and welcomed their sons, Charles and Peter. She married Kenneth Krug and they welcomed daughter, Kelly and son, Kenneth.


Ginny's front door was always open to the many friends of her children. They would often stop by just to see her. She was the neighborhood "mom" that everyone confided in. She loved her slot machines and vacations, especially cruises. Ginny loved to cook, although she enjoyed going out to eat. Sundays in the fall was football and a pot of sauce and meatballs. She could tell a story like no other person. She was a wife, mother, nana, great-nana, best friend and all-around confidant.


Ginny is survived by sons, Charles and Peter (Catherine), grandsons, Christopher (Nicole), Kevin (Sarah) and Timothy, great-grandchildren, Jack, Charlie and Violet, sisters, Rosemarie and Susan. countless nieces, nephews and cousins and her best friend, Stephanie.


She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth (husband), Kelly (daughter), Kenneth (son) and Barbara (sister).
