Regina Amelia Stephan - Story

1936 - 2025

Regina Amelia Stephan, born on October 7, 1936, in Manhattan, New York, passed away on February 24, 2025, in Carmel, New York.

She was the beloved daughter of James and Fortuna (Milano) LoGerfo and grew up alongside her siblings, Grace Pappalardo, Marie Randazzo (who preceded her in death), and John LoGerfo. Regina married William (Bill) Stephan, Jr., who also predeceased her.

She was a devoted mother to Dr. William Stephan III, Gail Rama (Mike), Joseph Stephan (Rhonda), Maria Dorgler (Fred) and her special daughter-in-law, Lauriann Stephan. Her love extended to her many grandchildren-Freddie, Ellen, Chris, Patti, Alexandria, Kathryn, William IV, Juliette, Kristy, Kelly, Katlyn, Karen, Kimberly, Joseph, Aislin, and Leia Fortunata-as well as her great-grandchildren-Scarlett, Logan, Cami, Lucy, Grace, Sophie, Maxwell, Winston, Jonah, Maya, Charlotte-with another expected addition to the family in the near future.

Regina's life was filled with love for her family, friends and all those around her. She loved entertaining for many, attending her children and grandchildren's sporting and other events and her special place was on Lake Champlain in Westport, NY - sharing many special times with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th at Our Lady of Victory Church, 2 Floral Parkway, Floral Park, NY 11001. The service will take place at 9:15 AM. She will laid to rest at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY.

The family asks that if you would like to do something good in Regina's honor, Regina would have preferred a donation to one of her favorite charities - St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Team Continue Foundation.
